Fearless Photographers - Top 50 of the World 2021

Today I've received an email that made me so proud: Congratulations on making the Top 50 Fearless Photographers of 2021!

Each quarter, around 10.000 images from the best wedding photographers all over the world are send in to this prestigious association, and only around 100 images receive an award each round. So having 4 awards in one year is some sort of achievement and I feel proud of that. But not because of the recognition... yes it is nice to know your hard work is being payed off, but it is more because of the message behind my work, that is being noticed globally.

I try to shoot images that have a mix of things, moments that people universally feel and can relate to in some way, because it reminds them of their own memories, of simply because it makes them smile or touch a nerve. But also to put our elder generation in the spotlights, I love it when I can capture the kid in them. And finally some sort of artistic editing, that comes from a place in my soul.
